Mint (M)

Mint records are perfect, unopened and / or never played. These records are usually sealed in its original packaging.

Near Mint (NM)

Record is open but in nearly perfect condition. There are no signs of defects or markings appearing perfectly shiny and clean.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

High quality sound with only a minimal scuff or mark that does not affect the sound quality. The record has been played but any signs of play are barely noticeable.

Very Good (VG)

The record sounds and plays good on the turntable with an occasional pop or surface noise. Wear is apparent with marks and light scratches visible.

Good (G)

Record plays without skipping and may have surface noise and / or warping. There are signs of visible damage, writing on labels, wear, scuffs or marks. Good records are more likely to pop and have surface noise.

Fair (F) or Poor (P)

Records are in terrible condition and rarely sell for more than cents. These records are warped, scuffed, cracked, scratched and heavily damaged. Repeats or skips while playing and covers are in the worst shape.

How much are my vinyl records worth?

Prices are generally determined by the artist, title and condition of the record. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to say a record is in Near Mint or Very Good condition without actually seeing and inspecting the vinyl record itself.
